Grant Richard Kwiecinski, also known by his stage name GRiZ, is an American DJ, songwriter, and electronic music producer from Southfield Michigan. He is known for playing the saxophone along with producing funk, electro-soul, and self-described future-funk. Since coming out publicly in the Huff Post Op-Ed, he has felt a greater degree of freedom in self-expression and on his post-reveal album, 'Ride Waves', he collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and Bootsy Collins, amongst others.
