Brighton Music Conference (BMC),the UK’s foremost electronic music conference and networking event’, is making its huge return to the stage with its 9th edition. The 3-day event kicks off on the 25th of May at the illustrious British Airways i360 venue on Brighton’s beachfront, towering 450ft above the gleaming city lights. 

This year’s BMC focuses on rekindling the music industry post-COVID and reuniting professionals and fans to a culmination of music, loaded with talks, performances, keynotes, workshops, and lots of parties. The beachfront complex will host four Theatres, the BMC networking Hub, Pro meeting Lounge, and an exhibition and services zone.

The Keynote interviews include Grammy winner DJ Dubfire, the 1st UK DJ to mix on live tv- Greg Wilson, and James Priestly and Giles Smith celebrating over 20 years of their SecretSundaze party.

The program breakdown consists of over 50 panels and workshops, covering hot music industry topics such as; a Marketing case study with Hexagon NFT imprint, Social media- how it can help you and your brand grow, What arts council investment can do for you, How to work with influencers in music and events, Future clubbing, Gender representation in record labels, Mental health with BIMM and much more. The BMC also hosts a wide array of workshops for the creators and fans, covering music production, the art of being a DJ and music remixing, A&R, and learning social media analytics for managing the digital side of the music business.

The grand event starts on Wednesday 25th May with the official BMC Welcome Party hosted by Sentric at Rockwater on the roof terrace. A networking party hosted by PRS for music with guest DJs Richard Earnshaw, Sophie Lloyd, Queen Bee and more takes place on Thursday 26th May. Lady of the House will host an event at The Southern Belle on the same day, with DJs Charlie Tee, Carly Wilford, Just Her and DJ Ty. Blvkr will present PVRE BLVCK with Lisa Loud, Huxley, Wax Worx and Eddie Merced.

The most awaited Pod Party will run all night, hosted by the iconic DJ Dubfire and DJ Sam Divine at the unforgettable i360 pod venue. The official closing event features guest DJs Cousn, Jon Carter, Steven Mac and more, while Stanton Warriors will take over the pod for one last party at the place. Greg Wilson and Trevor Fung will also appear at BMC’s last night.

The BMC has recently announced new names of stars that will be presenting and performing at the venue, including; Andrew Blackett (Fabric), ANOTR, Serge Santiago, Colin Dale, Connie Chow (Fuga), Critical Music, Danny Rampling, Judge Jules, Mighty Mouse, Seamus Haji, Ski Oakenfull, and Spinnin Records, etc.
