Mark your calendars! EDC Thailand will debut on January 17-19, 2025, when it takes over the Boat Avenue Lakefront in Phuket. Expanding to Thailand for the first time, Insomniac is bringing its flagship festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, to the beachfront island.
The event takes place at the Boat Avenue Lakefront area of Phuket on January 17th – 19th, 2025. Information on travel, hotels, etc. is not yet available, but attendees can expect both GA and VIP tickets along with table service via Skydecks.

Southeast Asia is a hotbed for electronic music, and countries like Thailand have emerged as home to many festivals over the years. EDC Thailand, created in partnership with Bangkok’s Billions EDC, will bring an immersive experience to the country's largest island, renowned for its beaches and nightlife.
Earlier this year, Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac, accidentally leaked the news that EDC would be coming to Thailand during the live lineup reveal for EDC Las Vegas. This sent viewers into a frenzy with speculation on where and when the festival would be held. Videos surfaced, indicating that the festival would arrive sooner than many thought.
While what’s to come at EDC Thailand remains a mystery, looking at other editions of the festival in countries like China and Japan can provide an idea of what's in store. Past editions have featured artists like Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, and Tiësto, suggesting a similarly high-caliber lineup for Thailand.
Thailand is no stranger to hosting festivals, with experiences like S2O Festival, 808 Festival, and Wonderfruit gaining global recognition over the years. Insomniac isn’t the only behemoth brand with its eyes on the country lately, either. Reports surfaced in March that Tomorrowland was planning to host an edition in the country, but the festival’s organizers quickly went on record to state that they’ve explored the idea, but their plans have not yet been finalized.
