London is trending with the recent outburst of open-air music club venues, and the next big thing challenging the new entrants is Modern Wharf Terrace in Greenwich.

Equipped with a capacity to host over 500 electronic music enthusiasts, Morden Wharf Terrace is set up in a historical industrial yard on the bank of Thames in the Brew By Numbers Brewery’s complex- with the brewing company owning the terrace and serving the never-ending beer supply.

Modern Wharf Terrace’s head of operations Alex Donald expressed his happiness:

We’re really excited to be bringing some of the best names in electronic music to this stunning location on the Thames. The terrace is part of Brew By Numbers Brewery and I knew it had huge potential to be transformed into a music venue. Open-air dancing in London is still a rarity and we’re making the most of this with uninterrupted panoramic views, Funktion One sound and the best street food. We have a brewery next door so that means amazing craft beer on tap too!"

The venue launches this summer on April 29th with a grand opening party and is to transform the site into electronic music heaven. The event schedule includes a UKG Big BBQ by UKG Brunch on May 14th and a multitude of follow-on events through the months with shows by Oliver Smith and Redfreya in the same month, a Riverside Beer Festival in June, and events by DNB Big BBQ, Stanton Sessions, Glasgow Underground, Mas Que Nada, Reptile Dysfunction and 30 Years of Hard Times.

The terrace brings London a quality blend of DJs and music pioneers including sensations Marcel Vogel, Terry Farley, Matt Jam Lamont, Kevin Mckay, Nancy, Spencer Brown, Richie Blacker, Stanton Warriors, and more.

The venue features a state-of-the-art Funktion One sound system, a music marvel found only in the top clubs, installed with a shipping container DJ booth at the wharf site.

Exotic street food will be a delight that completes the deal, with big names like It’s A London Wing and Freewheelin’ Pizza setting up on the spot. Black Eats LDN, the UK’s first and only directory of Black-owned restaurants and food businesses, will also cater events. Beers and cocktails are to run throughout by partner, Brew By Numbers Brewery.

MW Terrace follows up the opening of Dockyards and MSG Sphere open-air clubs and is set to compete for its place in the London club venue world.

The terrace will open on Fridays from 5 to 10 pm, and from noon till 10 pm on weekends. Grab your tickets now here at MW Terrace’s official site.
