Mixmasters is back this year to announce the return of its summer music production retreat program. The 7-day event will run from 22nd till 29th of October, a sequel to last year’s great retreat with Logic Pro and Ableton experts- Huxley, Carl Bee and Glimpse.

The event calls on passionate and experienced music producers around the globe to come to join the production team at the Mixmasters’ luxurious villa in San Carlos, Ibiza for an immersive music-themed week. It will be an opportunity to learn, collaborate, network, share and showcase with the industry’s best and will provide digital artists with a chance to catapult their careers years ahead into the music world.

The retreat hosts several sessions and events, each designed to boost and develop talent and help produce great tracks. The one-to-one coaching session is a unique take on counselling and skill-set development, with no defined curriculum but a custom, tailored plan to match each artist’s strengths, domains, and preferences.

“Exclusively led by industry professionals at the top of their game, each retreat is structured for your specific needs, giving you the chance to learn at your own pace and in your own style. Our coaches tailor each person’s learning journey to guide you towards achieving your ambitions in a relaxed, informal setting.”

The retreat also provides close networking with fellow DJs and digital artists with similar interests, struggles and goals; and the company of famous producers, promoters, and music labels to help gain inspiration, work opportunities and recognition. The retreat enabled artists like Roger Sanchez, Huxley, Jacky, Saytek, Kreature, Slipmatt, Amber D, Mat Playford and many more, to create a successful career in the music industry. 

Not only will the artists get to produce and finish a track with Huxley, Carl Bee and the team, but they also get the chance to pitch their music and talent in front of experts, DJMag editors, producers and Mixmasters’ special guest label A&Rs consisting of world’s biggest 15 house and techno labels. The performances at the BBQ dinner will be recorded and live-streamed for promoting the artists and for helping them gain global recognition.

Perhaps an attractive compliment to the package is the luxury and serenity the villa provides while you work on your music. The seven-bedroom villa, sealed in the heart of Ibiza has its own mini nightclub with decks, BBQ and a bar. There is an outdoor jacuzzi, a pool and an in-house private chef for perfect snacks and meals.

The retreat program will also take its guests on surreal experiences including a tour to Europe’s no.1 state-of-the-art 3D binaural sound recording studio, Metrica, a 3D sound workshop to feel the music through your body and a field recording trip to Cala Benirras for a hippy beach party.
