North America is set to close out summer with a vibrant infusion of drum & bass from one of the genre's most influential acts. Pendulum have unveiled plans for a rare DJ tour across the United States and Canada, revealing nine dates. With the exception of a single stop in Vancouver, all of the group's performances will take place in the US.
Late last year, the iconic electronic music band collaborated with Matthew Tuck of Bullet for My Valentine on a heavy metal-infused EP, Anima. Not long before that, they reinterpreted the sounds of Taylor Swift with a cover of "Anti-Hero" for triple j's "Like A Version" programme. Pendulum, renowned for their pioneering fusion of electronic rock and drum & bass, have been a stalwart in the scene since their debut album, Hold Your Colour, which remains a genre-defining classic.
The North American DJ tour will commence on September 5th, 2024 at ReelWorks in Denver, Colorado. The tour will continue to prestigious venues such as The Wiltern in Los Angeles and Webster Hall in New York City. Fans can anticipate a dynamic mix of classic tracks and new material, promising an electrifying experience.
This tour signifies a pivotal moment for Pendulum, who have consistently redefined the boundaries of live electronic music performance. The band, consisting of Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and El Hornet, are known for their high-energy shows and innovative stage designs. This tour follows their recent headlining performances at major festivals such as Leeds Festival and Reading Festival in August.
